Zoë Kravitz is in talks to star alongside Austin Butler in Caught Stealing.

According to Deadline, The Batman actress is being lined up to appear in the Darren Aronofsky-directed crime thriller.

Caught Stealing is based on the 2004 book by Charlie Huston and follows the story of former baseball player Hank Thompson, played by Butler. The washed-up athlete is forced to fight for his survival after he is dragged into the criminal underworld in 90s’ New York City.

It is not yet known which character Kravitz, who is currently gearing up for the release of her directorial debut Blink Twice, will play.

Aronofsky’s Protozoa Pictures will produce the Sony Pictures film, while Huston will write the script.

Butler’s casting was announced in March, and at the time Aronofsky revealed he was eager to get started on the project.

“I am excited to be teaming up with my old friends at Sony Pictures to bring Charlie’s adrenaline-soaked roller-coaster ride to life,” the director said in a statement. “I can’t wait to start working with Austin and my family of NYC filmmakers.”
