Engaged actors Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz have found their first on-screen project together.

The stars, who met when Kravitz cast Tatum in her 2024 directorial debut Blink Twice, will act alongside each other for the first time in Alpha Gang, which will be directed by Nathan and David Zellner.

Their casting was announced on Tuesday alongside Dave Bautista, Steven Yeun, Léa Seydoux and Riley Keough. They will all play members of the Alpha Gang alongside the previously announced Cate Blanchett as their leader.

Alpha Gang follows a group of alien invaders sent to conquer Earth. Disguised in human form as a 1950s leather-clad biker gang, they are ruthless in their mission, until they succumb to the most toxic and contagious human condition of all: emotion.

“These stellar new recruits are a powerhouse of comedic talent, adding even more excitement to this eagerly awaited film. This cast, just like the story and its filmmakers, is out of this world,” Fionnuala Jamison, Managing Director of the project’s sales agent mk2 Films, told Deadline.

Alpha Gang, which is being produced by Blanchett, will serve as a reunion in a few different ways. Keough previously worked with the Zellners on their 2024 absurdist comedy Sasquatch Sunset as well as Kravitz on 2015’s Mad Max: Fury Road. Meanwhile, Bautista and Seydoux both appeared in the 2015 James Bond film Spectre.

Alpha Gang is scheduled to begin production in Spring 2025.

Kravitz is currently filming Darren Aronofsky’s Caught Stealing, while Tatum is shooting the crime drama Roofman. They started dating before production began on Blink Twice and announced their engagement late last year.
