Radcliffe is a nightmare with phones
Daniel Radcliffe has a hard time keeping track of his phone, and lost it on the set of What If.
Daniel Radcliffe is prone to losing his phone.
The Harry Potter star lost track of his mobile while filming new flick What If in Toronto, and says it's not the first one he's misplaced.
"I took it to set, put it down somewhere and didn't find it again," Daniel confessed to Empire magazine. "I feel that may have been the second phone I'd lost that year. I should have a stable of phones constantly."
What If tells the story of medical school dropout Wallace, who's had his heart broken on numerous occasions. After meeting animator Chantry, played by Zoe Kazan, who has a long term boyfriend, the pair strike up a deep friendship with undertones of something more romantic.
"Not a situation that was as drawn out or as intense as the one in the film," Daniel commented when asked if he'd ever been in a similar scenario.
"But we've all had that, when you start spending time with a friend of the opposite sex and go, 'Do I fancy you?' It can be a minefield at times, but I'd address the situation a lot quicker than Wallace does, because I'm a lot less patient. Find out and get it over with."
The movie features a nude scene, which sees both leads stripping off for a midnight dip. The 24-year-old star is no stranger to getting his kit off, and appeared naked on stage when he was in play Equus, so didn't find the scene too uncomfortable.
"No. It's just another day," he laughed of getting naked.
"We managed to catch it on a relatively mild night, so it wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been."
What If hits cinemas next month.
