Michael Keaton plays a man dying of cancer, who videotapes himself for his unborn child. In recording the details of his life, so that his child will know what his father was like, he discovers he doesn't know much about who he is: "He tries talking from the heart, but he can't find his heart." Of the story, which also features Nicole Kidman as Keaton's expectant wife: "If it sounds like a three-hankie picture, it isn't. More like twelve. It's pretty emotional, but also very celebratory." Screenwriter Bruce Joel ("GHOST") Rubin makes his feature film debut as a director.
